Tahoe Blue Mirror

Blue Mirror / Amber Base · 22% VLT

An all-condition, everyday lens. The amber base provides warm contrast for driving, golf, hiking and outdoor activities, while the mirror softens bright light.

Summit Silver Mirror

Silver Mirror / Amber Base · 22% VLT

An all-condition, everyday lens. The amber base provides warm contrast for driving, golf, hiking and outdoor activities, while the mirror softens bright light.

Smoke Gray

Smoke Gray / Gray Base · 15% VLT

A classic gray lens with no mirror and a neutral view, with subtle color contrast enhancement. Our darkest tint, letting in the least light.

VLT is visible light transmission. A lower percentage means a darker lens: 15% lets in less light than 22%.

Frequently asked Questions

The questions people ask most before their first pair of Torque.

How is Perfect Polarized™ different for a pilot’s view?

Perfect Polarized™ uses an engineered film fine-tuned for glare control and digital-screen visibility, with premium optical-grade nylon for crisp, lightweight optics. It is designed to balance the outside view with the displays you use. Check the result with your own cockpit equipment and follow your operator’s guidance.

Will my screens and windscreen look the same at every angle?

Screen and windscreen effects vary with equipment and viewing angle. Check your own cockpit setup and follow your operator’s guidance. On the ground, assess the displays and windscreen through the viewing angles you use before deciding whether the sunglasses suit your setup.

How should I check the fit with my headset?

Try the frame with your own headset on the ground. Check pressure around the temples, the ear-cup seal and comfort when you move your head. Fit depends on your head, frame and headset combination; choose the setup that works for you.

Which lens tint should I choose for flying?

Tahoe Blue Mirror and Summit Silver Mirror both use an amber base with 22% visible light transmission (VLT). Smoke Gray uses a neutral gray base with 15% VLT. Lower VLT lets in less visible light. There is no universal best choice: consider the daylight conditions, the view you prefer and your own equipment.

Are these sunglasses for daylight or night flying?

These are tinted sunglasses for daylight use. Do not use them for night flying. Follow your operator’s guidance and choose eyewear appropriate to the light conditions.

Can I use the home try-on to check fit?

Try them on indoors for up to 30 days from delivery. Returns must be in new, unused condition with the original packaging and accessories. You cover return shipping unless eligible return coverage applies; we cover defects or our mistakes. Check fit with your headset indoors while preserving the return condition, and review the current return terms before ordering.

Do Torque sunglasses block 100% of UV rays?

Yes. Every Torque lens blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays as standard - on every frame and every lens color. It is not an upgrade or an add-on.

How do Torque frames fit?

Fulcrum is a medium-large unisex frame measuring 143 mm across, with a 16 mm bridge and 134 mm arms, which suits most face sizes. Camber is semi-rimless and lighter, with a wider open field of view built for sport. If the fit is not right, the 30-day home try-on covers the exchange.
